Custom Marble & Granite Countertops: One Factory, One Batch, One Layout
Why countertop orders fail on mixed batches — and how one factory, an approved actual-slab layout and CNC templating keep a marble kitchen island, the counters and the backsplash reading as one installation.

The buyer's pain point and our technical solution
Buying custom marble countertops from three different suppliers is the fastest way to buy three different batches. The island top arrives from one lot, the perimeter counters from a second, the backsplash panels from a third — and each lot carries a different white, a different vein direction and a different idea of how far the grey should travel. On paper every piece is Calacatta White; on site the polished marble kitchen island reads as a brighter, bolder stone than the counters beside it.
What the mismatch costs a trade buyer
Installation stops. Fabricators wait for replacements, cabinet installers push dates, and re-cutting charges eat the margin no stone discount returns. On expensive Italian marble, an unapproved layout can even mean the replacement pieces do not exist in the same lot — there is no fix to buy, only a compromise to explain to the client.
Our solution: one production chain from drawing to container
- One-stop full-chain supply: slabs, cut-to-size countertops, vanity tops and feature panels come from our single factory under one order, so pieces that must meet on a mitered corner are never argued between two suppliers.
- Same-day shop drawing on actual slabs: your cabinet plan is converted into a production-ready drawing that places island, waterfall returns, backsplash and counters on the images of the exact slabs your order will be cut from; multiple drawing revisions are accepted.
- CNC cutting against frozen templates: sink and cooktop cut-outs, tap holes, drainer grooves and corner radii are machined to the template with ±0.5 mm precision, and strong veins are kept off narrow sink rails unless agreed on the drawing.
- Full piece-by-piece inspection: dimensions, fabrication detail and surface condition are checked piece by piece before packing, with pieces numbered in installation order.
Value for the buyer
You bid with a documented set instead of a lottery of lots, hold the schedule because revisions are absorbed inside one factory, and keep the margin that re-cuts and site-day arguments would otherwise consume. Reference thickness runs 20 mm (about 3/4 in) or 30 mm (about 1-1/4 in); island lengths follow the formats buyers actually build — 96 in, 72 in, 48 in and 36 in (about 2440, 1830, 1220 and 915 mm). Because the same controls apply to repeat orders, the stone that ships next quarter matches the batch your client already approved.

Procurement FAQ
- Can one order really supply counters, island, vanity tops and backsplash together?
- Yes. Complex-project stone is supplied from one factory under one order and one set of working drawings, which is precisely why the pieces meet on site without shade surprises between lots.
- What if my client revises the island after the drawing is approved?
- Drawing revisions and order adjustments are supported. The layout is re-issued on the actual slab images and cutting follows the latest approved version.
- How is veining controlled across a long run?
- Vein direction is decided on the approved layout drawing — continuous along long runs, planned through waterfall returns and backsplash joints — and each piece is inspected against that layout before packing.
- What thickness should I specify for a marble kitchen island?
- Reference thickness is 20 mm (about 3/4 in) or 30 mm (about 1-1/4 in). A 30 mm top mitred over a build-up gives the deep monolithic edge most island designs want without paying for solid 2 in stock.
- Is Calacatta White marble practical as a working surface?
- It is a calcite marble: it takes a superb polish but etches from acids. We plan honed or polished finish honestly with you and document care guidance with the set; unlike resin-based surfaces, an etched marble top can be re-honed on site.
- What is the minimum order?
- Single-piece orders are accepted; small repairs and sample programmes ship under the same drawing and inspection controls as full containers.
