Stone Dining Tables: Pattern Placement Approved on the Actual Slab
A stone dining table is judged at close range every day. We lock pattern placement on the image of the actual slab before the first cut, so the table the client approved is the table in the container — and a dining set reads as one stone, not three.

The buyer's pain point and our technical solution
A marble dining table for 8 is bought on the pattern and judged from a seated position, at close range, every day. The furniture trade knows the failure mode: an importer orders a round top from a photo, the factory cuts whatever slab is on the saw bed that morning, and the container opens on a top where the largest bloom is sliced by the edge or runs off-centre. The sample that won the order had a centred bloom; the shipment has something else. On furniture margins, a returned or discounted table is rarely recoverable.
What pattern surprises cost a furniture buyer
A dining set ordered alongside console and side tables from separate batches reads as three unrelated stones, and the set premium that justified the sale quietly disappears. End clients see a different product from the one they bought.
Our solution: placement drawing before the first cut
- Actual-slab placement drawing: every top is planned on the image of the real slab — the largest bloom centred or deliberately offset on round tops, movement run lengthwise on 72 in rectangular tops so the table reads longer, blooms kept clear of base contact zones on square tops. Cutting starts only after you approve.
- CNC cutting and defined edge finishing: tops cut on CNC equipment, finished to eased, bullnose or small ogee profiles, polished until the crystal structure catches light.
- Matched sets from the same slabs: console and side tables cut from the same slabs keep movement consistent across the dining room — the detail furniture brands use to justify premium pricing on the whole set.
- Formats the market builds to: round 36 in, 48 in and 60 in; rectangular 60 in and 72 in; square 36 in and 48 in. Thickness 2 cm (3/4 in) standard, mitred build-up to a 1-1/2 in or 2 in visual edge. Bases: pedestal, brass/gold, solid wood or slim iron.
- Single-piece orders accepted; mixed containers packed with tops face-protected and bases crated separately.
Value for the buyer
The table your customer approves on the placement drawing is the table in the container: no pattern surprises, no discounted shipments, and sets that match because they were cut from the same slabs.

Procurement FAQ
- Can we approve the pattern before you cut?
- Yes — that is the standard process. Each order returns slab images and a placement drawing showing where the movement falls on your top; cutting starts only after you approve it.
- Can dining and console tables match as a set?
- Yes. When ordered together, console and side tables are cut from the same slabs, keeping the movement consistent across the dining room.
- What size table seats eight?
- A 72 in rectangular top (about 183 cm) is the standard eight-seat format; a 60 in round seats six. Custom lengths are produced to drawing.
- What about single-piece orders?
- Single-piece orders are accepted for showrooms and replacements, with the same placement drawing and inspection discipline as set orders.
- How are tables packed?
- Mixed containers of dining and coffee tables are packed with tops face-protected and bases crated separately, and every piece is inspected against the approved drawing before the container closes.
