Marble Double Sinks: Two Bowls, One Model, One Block Set
A double sink fails when its two bowls come from two orders. We carve both from one buyer-approved 3D model and one matched block set, drill drains to your plumbing drawing and inspect the pair side by side before packing.

The buyer's pain point and our technical solution
A marble double sink program succeeds or fails on one question: were the two bowls carved as a pair, or assembled from two orders? Buyers searching marble double sink are usually fitting a shared vanity — a family bathroom, a hotel suite, a spa ritual room — where two basins stand side by side and every mismatch is visible at arm's length. Solid-carved stone sinks magnify the risk: each bowl is carved from its own block, so tone, veining and even bowl profile can drift between pieces sourced separately. Drain positions add a second failure mode — a bowl carved without the plumbing drawing becomes a site re-cut on stone.
What that costs the buyer
A mismatched pair undermines the exact effect the double sink was chosen for. Shimming and rejected pieces absorb installation days; a drain hole that misses the rough-in turns a finished bathroom into a re-cut queue; and a showroom pair that reads as two stones stops selling the concept it was displayed to prove.
Our solution: one 3D model, one block set, one inspection line
- 3D model approved before carving: every sink program starts from a model the buyer signs off — bowl profile, drain and tap positions, pedestal or integration detail — so the stone is carved to the drawing, not to a guess.
- Matched block allocation: both bowls of a pair come from one block set so tone and veining continue across the pair; sets are inspected side by side before packing.
- Hand carving with 5-axis CNC finishing: solid blocks are shaped by hand and finished on 5-axis CNC — the same discipline documented across our Bianco Crystal and Red Sandalwood sink programs.
- Plumbing-first drilling: drain and tap holes are positioned to your plumbing drawing before carving, eliminating the site re-cut that ruins finished bathrooms.
- Program flexibility: single-piece showroom orders accepted; hotel and spa programs quoted per project, lead time 25–35 days from model approval.
Value for the buyer
The pair that opens from the crate is a pair — one model, one block set, drains where the pipes are — and it installs without re-cutting stone on site.

- Solid-carved stone double-bowl vanity sinks, customized from 3D models for guest bathrooms
- What it solved
- Freestanding double sinks sourced from separate carvers arrived with bowl profiles that did not match within a pair
- Before
- Mismatched bowl profiles and drain positions forced on-site shimming and rejected pieces
- Now
- Both bowls carved from matched blocks against one approved 3D model; pairs inspected side by side before packing and accepted at first inspection

- Granite double pedestal sinks for spa changing suites
- What it solved
- Plumbing rough-ins were fixed before stone selection; basin drain spacing had to match the existing pipe positions exactly
- Before
- A previous stone sink order arrived with drain holes that missed the rough-in, requiring re-cutting on site
- Now
- Drain positions drilled to the plumbing drawing before carving; both pedestals set without site modification

Showroom display pair matched for veining
- Client / commission
- Bathroom showroom, North America

Procurement FAQ
- Can both bowls of a double sink be carved from matching stone?
- Yes — pairs are allocated from one block set so tone and veining read as one piece, and both bowls are inspected side by side before packing. Identical veining across two carved bowls cannot be promised on natural stone; continuity is planned and confirmed at block allocation.
- How are drain and tap positions handled?
- Positions are drilled to your plumbing drawing before carving. Send the rough-in dimensions with the order; the 3D model you approve shows the drain and tap layout exactly as it will be carved.
- Which stones work best for carved double sinks?
- Granites such as Bianco Crystal suit daily family and hotel duty; marbles and limestones read warmer for spas and boutiques but need a stated care routine. The trade-off is declared per stone in the quotation.
- What is the minimum order?
- Single-piece orders are accepted for showrooms and replacements; hotel and spa programs are quoted per project. Every piece follows the same 3D model approval and inspection discipline.
- How long does a carved sink program take?
- Lead time runs from approval of the 3D model, typically 25–35 days to shipment for standard programs; complex spa integrations are scheduled at quotation.
